Jack Ruby was formed in Minneapolis by singer/guitarist Nicholson Kenney and bassist Paul Berg. In 2004, along with drummer Mike Hinton, the group recorded the follow-upto 2003’s six-song debut, Jack Ruby:EP. With award-winning producer Kent Peterson at the helm, Informal Moronic has captured the sonic intensity of the band’s live performance and showcased their strongest material to date. Rooted in genre combining rock influences like the Clash, Elvis Costello, and the Police, Jack Ruby’soriginality shines through in the intense yet simple arrangements and ambitious songwriting.
